Security Threat Groups (STGs) are a constant concern for correctional administrators. Similar to gang populations in the free world, types STGs and their memberships continue to increase, creating an ongoing issue for correctional agencies.

Compose an essay of 500 – 700 words that discusses the threats that STGs pose to correctional agencies. As part of your response, discuss measures that correctional agencies can take to control the influence of STGs within an incarceration facility.
