Order Description
Part 1 (50%) – outline a comprehensive risk management process (20%) and critically analyse the main advantages and disadvantages of applying it to the organising of a
small music festival in the UK (30%). Include the areas of assessing risk events quantitatively, selecting the most suitable type of planned responses and using a
comprehensive review mechanism in your discussion.
Part 2 (30%) – apply this approach to the planning a major event such as a wedding- critically analyse 10-15 risk events including their ratings, planned responses and
the modified risk ratings. Create a risk Register and present this as a table.
Part 3 (20%) – Using a formal model of reflection (such as Johns Kolb, Gibbs or de Bono) show how you have used the feedback from your first submission to better meet
the assessment criteria (see Bb) and self-evaluate your performance against each of them with a mark out of 20 and a short explanation.
