1. According to the Carnegie Foundation, South Dakota is comprised of 22 colleges and universities with regional accreditation. Many graduates have strong ties to agricultural and industry within the legislature, public and private sector. Publications such as U.S. News, Forbes and Washington Monthly rank colleges according to various criteria. In your opinion, what should be the purpose/value of earning a college degree and how can politics serve to meet this goal?
