The issue that I will be focusing on for my action research project is staff turnover in the business. The organization loses staff at a very high rate not only at the center level but cooperate level as well. This causes problems within the direct care staff which are burned out from working by themselves and maybe even searching for other employment.
Having high employee turnover can have the high impact on business. There need to be steps taken first to recognize that there is an issue then measure the turnover rate. Start looking at what it is costing the organization and address the issues. What I have learned from being in the organization for over thirty-five years is most of the turnover rate comes from new management being hired, salary increase, and not knowing enough about what it is you will be doing particularly at the center level. The two ethical issues that I feel would be a problem is cost of employee turnover and causes of employee turnover
