This article mentions how The Anti- Bullying Bill of Rights became a law in New Jersey. Schools in New Jersey now have to opportunity to report to the police as anonymous, kindergarteners will now learn the difference between telling and tattling. High schoolers will learn there is no such thing as an innocent bystander, if they see any bullying happening they have to report it. This law for New Jersey opens up a lot of opportunities to stop bullying from happening.

This article focuses on why people desire to bully and not just the behaviors of it. They think if they can understand why then if will solve the problem of bullying. Different combinations of reasons may fuel the desire to bully someone at different times. Some perpetrators may genuinely see what they are doing as harmless fun, despite the apparent distress of their target that is evident to others. Teasing may sometimes fall into this category. If they could better understand it they can sure put a stop to it.

This article talks about the highlights of this issue to inform readers about current state and national policy and practices that have developed as a response to high profile youth violence thought to have its roots in bullying behavior. It also talks about how psychologists can play a central role in the schools’ response to this growing concern about school bullying.

This article talks about how hasn’t stopped on high school campuses, and we’re constantly reminded of that.  This has caused local activists to renew their efforts to convince the Kansas Legislature to expand the definition of bullying and cyberbullying. The current law mentions that it requires school districts to implement anti-bullying plans but doesn’t say how districts should handle or track reports of bullying. They want some modifications on this law.

This article focuses on the Kansas State Board of Education announced this week that it plans to discuss at its next meeting whether it should consider a statewide anti-bullying policy. It mentions how bullying is a major problem in schools, and often leads to tragedy. Students should feel protected at all times, and out of harms way from predators.

This article mentions how bullying is a major issue in our society, and it talks about why bullies probably do what they do. Kids who bully often do it to cover up hurt feelings, and they are defined by their behavior. It also mentions reasons why bullies probably enjoy bullying.

This law requires the Maryland State Department of Education to require a county board of education to document and report all incidents of harassment or intimidation against students in public schools under the county board’s jurisdiction.
