Students will prepare research papers of 5 pages in length, including a one-page Works Cited, using MLA in-text citation. Students must use a minimum of 6 quotations in the MLA in-text citation format. Students are allowed to develop their own topics, but they must fall within one of the following categories

Cultural Group Papers

The aspects dealt with will vary from student to student but might include:

contributions to American society in politics or art or music or science or literature of an individual member of the cultural group or the entire group
culture: family, language, celebrations, religion, values
personal family history

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

YOU MUST USE THREE DIFFERENT SOURCE TYPES (NOT THREE BOOKS, FOR EXAMPLE)
THE EXTRA CREDIT SOURCE SHEETS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE PAPER.
YOU MUST TYPE IN THE MLA MANUSCRIPT FORMAT INCLUDING A WORKS CITED PAGE
