Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

The paper is to be about 3-4 pages in length (excluding title and references pages, it should be word-processed, 12 Times New Roman point font or equivalent, double-spaced, and with 1 inch margins all around) and you will integrate a minimum of SIX sociological concepts (e.g., theories, vocabulary words, ideas, etc.) into a paper with a clear thesis. The paper can be based on anything of interest to you (e.g., recent incident, current media headline, government policy, a particular law, a movie, a book, or even music lyrics, etc.). The idea is that you use the concepts we cover in this course and evaluate/review/discuss your topic You will be evaluated on: (1) how effectively you demonstrate an understanding of these concepts, (2) the critical thinking exhibited in the paper and (3) how polished the grammar, mechanics, thesis development are in your writing.
