Part 1:
Annotated bibliography (4 articles are attached be annotated) 350 words each
Key issue in annotating is: a field focus:
The issue of teaching English for general or specific academic purpose (specific purposes might be science, business, history, health studies, media studies, etc)
This is essentially what a research paper is expected to offer:
– an indication of the issue explored
– some rationale or background for the issue
– some information about how the study was approached and undertaken
– information in the form of findings, discussion and conclusions

Part 2:
describe, and analytically review two examples of teaching materials or resources relevant to your chosen issue. These may be print or websites

c. Apply knowledge of theory and practices in teaching academic English to develop pedagogic resources for teaching academic English to specific groups of learners 40%
d. produce written accounts with coherent structure, clarity of expression, and integrated reference to key literature 15%
e. Write up a paper in the genre of report with 3 parts. Make sure it has coherent structure, clear expression, and correct APA referencing.
