Field-based Report – 1500 words

Note: You are limited to individual reflexive observations of yourself-

WRITE UP:

Select at least five relevant literatures (attached under materials) to frame your findings and then write up a report that include
all of the following three elements (note: that this can be done in a single narrative, OR it can also be done in a more structure
report form):

1) Description: Briefly but evocatively describe what you did. why you picked it, and how you did it (approx 250 words).

2) Relevant contextual literature (attached under materials): Indicate at least 5 relevant readings (attached under materials) tr
theorize the body in an appropriate way and explain briefly how they help you to think about your field experience (approximat
500 words).

3) Synthesis: Write up a short (750 word) critical analysis of some of your observation data, placing it as evidence for or agair
more general point suggested by the literature (attached under materials). You might, for instance use the examples to
demonstrate a general point made about embodiment, or the notion of habitus, or in a feminist critique of the gendered body.
