Choose one of those places and investigate the climate characteristics by identifying the Koppen code, seasonal patterns of temperature and moisture, and the patterns of atmospheric circulation (eg. ITCZ, High pressure systems, westerlies). Describe any unique conditions such as hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, heat waves, blizzards, monsoons, unusual winds etc. Discuss why these hazards occur, how they have influenced the formation of this place and how they would affect your plans to visit the place such as timing your visit or any precautions you would need to take.

Your post should be at least 4 paragraphs and must use appropriate terminology and concepts learned from the course. You must cite at least 1 source in MLA format. You will be graded on the level of detailed explanation you provide and proper writing (spelling and grammar). Consider having your essay proofread before posting it. Note: Be careful not to discuss geological characteristics; that is the topic for DF 5. Also, do not write about how humans respond to natural disasters. You should focus on how humans are causing changes in the atmosphere and/or climate.
