Syllabus guidelines

Grading will be based on how well you have argued and defended your point of view using the lecture, discussion, text, and outside resources. The papers should be thoughtful and not a regurgitation and definition of terms. In addition, grading will be based on how well the paper flows and follows proper grammatical structure (i.e., good organization, transitions, as well as a good conclusion). Each paper should be 3-4 pages in length, typed, 12 point font, Times New Roman, 1.5 line-spaced. (MLA format is fine, but please use APA for citations).
