Advance Accounting Assignment

• Compare woolworths and coles on their annual reports.
• Mention the conceptual framework and corporate governance of these two companies.
• (Most Important) By looking at the annual reports mention how these two companies breached the corporate governance principles and if they followed these principles so how they followed
• Legitimacy theory and how these companies violated it.
• Take the 5 to 10 years old annual reports of these companies and compare their performance with today’s annual reports.
• Corporate Social responsibility of these two companies and how did they breached or followed it.
• GRI- Global reporting initiatives
• G4 sustainability reporting. Did these companies follow it or not.
• Swot analysis
• Ethics
• critically analyse and develop supported recommendations and conclusions, in reference to the relevant accounting framework
• Include screenshots from annual reports and other images graphs and other necessary material in assignment to support our work.
• Need to support their analysis and recommendations with the text and requirements: minimum of 10 recent and relevant academic journal articles. Other sources may also be used but you need to be confident of the academic validity of such sources with Harvard Referencing.

Report Guidelines

The report should be typed double spaced, using Times New Roman font size of either 10 point or 12 point.

Every page should be clearly numbered.

The assignment should include the following parts:

(a) A title / cover page, which indicates basic information such as Subject title(Advance accounting) Subject code(Acc 302), Trimester number(trimester 3) , Assignment title(Individual assessment)  full name(Muhammad Anees Haider) and KOI student number(11400283), word count(up to 2500 words) and name of the tutor (Rex Walsh)

(b) Executive Summary;

(c) Table of Contents;

(d) Main contents – Introduction, analysis using suitable headings and subheadings, Conclusions and Recommendations, Appendices (if any);

(e) References (using Harvard – Anglia style); and/or

(f) Attachments.
