Create a written lecture on the topic of diversity.

In your written lecture, explore any diversity-related issues that you are planning to consider while writing your dissertation. The diversity questions might pertain to your research topic and/or to your specific population of interest. Explore how your research might contribute to the topics of diversity, cultural humility, cultural competence, and/or social justice. This is an opportunity to think about how we can contribute meaningfully to social change and diverse needs as researchers and members of the field. This awareness is valuable to take with you as you progress through your program and begin to narrow your research focus and critically analyze existing literature. You may provide additional information such as research on diversity related to your chosen workplace, or demographic or community information, etc.

Research Topic: Vocabulary acquisition of non-exposed language during hypnosis stage.
Population of interest: Hispanics in New York City
