Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

Last week we studied the Command Staff who report directly to the Incident Commander. This week we will look at the General Staff in the Incident Command System. Again, these positions are not always filled – it really depends on the size and complexity of the emergency as to whether or not we need to fill a specific General Staff position. The decision is left up to the Incident Commander. The General Staff has delegated functional responsibilities and include the following sections: -Operations -Finance -Planning -Logistics During Week 6 we will also look at ICS forms in an excel spreadsheet that are available on the Weekly Forum assignment.
