You should have an attention-getter, clear thesis (topic purpose or what you want to prove) and a preview of main points (10 points)

Cite sources in your presentation.Use a variety of different sources from academic journals, books, news sources,and online materials. You should have 5 to 10 sources. Be sure you use academic journals whenever possible. Do not simply use wikipedia. (10 points)

Be sure to include the following:

1.) description of the person, event, group, or media content studied. Tell the story. Sometimes who, what, when, where, why works well. (30 points)

2.) why they are important to GBLT history, community, or social movements (10 points)

3.) what persuasive techniques did they use (ethos, pathos, logos / identification / social movement strategies / power / performance…) (20 points)
