• Choose a major U.S. city, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc. that has had a “scandal” involving police misconduct. While a major city is preferred, exceptional cases in smaller communities can be found and if the
case is of sufficient notoriety, it will be approved. • It does not have to be a recent event. Some of the most outstanding examples of police corruption occurred in the 1980s.
• There is no shortage of good examples of bad conduct!
• Outline in detail the circumstances of the corruption or misconduct. • Provide the following information pertaining to the circumstances:
o What type of conduct was involved? o How many officers were implicated? o How did the department and city administration respond? o What was the final outcome? Officers prosecuted? Police Chief fired?

The assignment must be 1200 – 1500 words of content, plus cover sheet and sources page and: • Minimum of 2 sources must be provided • APA format • 12 pt font • Double spaced

Papers with less than 1200 words of content or papers turned in after the due date will suffer significant grade reduction. Cover page and reference page will not count toward the minimum content.

PPACA of 2010 brought many changes to the types of provider organizations available. ACOs and PCMHs are two new organizations formed under PPACA. Using the readings this week, discuss the origin, structure, and purpose of the new organizations formed under PPACA.

Using South University Online Library (for example, CINAHL) or the Internet, search any three articles from the list below and evaluate the challenges and opportunities facing payers and providers as ACOs and PCMHs are implemented:
