In order to demonstrate that you have achieved the above learning outcomes and transferable skills of this module you are asked to produce a 1,500 word assignment. The
assignment should be presented in a REPORT format.

The assignment will explore and analyse elements of MNC HR policy which are shaped by the context of the foreign countries that subsidiaries are located in. This
concerns the way in which subsidiary HR policies and practices are shaped by a foreign MNC’s interaction with employees, and host-country managers, working under
different national rules, and different cultural and social systems.

You will need to consider and understand how (and why) MNCs can choose to deviate from their original home country policies in order to exploit these advantages fully
while dealing with societal and cultural differences.

You must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the concept of performance management and the transferability of this concept across international operations of
MNCs – considering the effectiveness of this concept as a tool for different competitive advantages. You will also need to critically evaluate how current research
impacts on your analysis.

All tasks will be fully complete, and fully meet the assessment brief. Referencing will be accurate and the bibliography will demonstrate a range of relevant sources
that are all evaluated but less effectively than for a higher grade. The strategic dimension is clearly evidenced and demonstrates a clear ability to select
appropriate data to illustrate them. The report is in an appropriate format, clearly expressed and demonstrates the ability to select key information to support the
