Look in your local or regional press coverage to find a disaster that required federal or state intervention in your state or one nearby. Apply the federal standards as well as state standards that you have learned about to identify how the governor might request federal assistance and the legal arguments for and against such responses with citations. What agencies, if any, state and/or federal, would be involved with a response and why?
