Introduction – Describe the experiment and its purpose. What question or questions are you attempting to answer?
Experiment, Material, and Measuring Devices – Describe experiment in detail and discuss estimated uncertainties with measurements.
Data – Introduce data collected from experiment. Embed a data table into your report.
Analysis – Discuss the method used to plot data in excel. There are many ways to plot data. You should elaborate on the various ways and the nature of the data plot (linear or non-linear) Embed an excel plot with a curve fit.
Mathematical Model – relate data analysis in excel to a mathematical/physical model. Embed any equations using Microsoft equation editor. Calculate any quantities of interest from measured data and include uncertainties. Fractional uncertainties must be calculated.
