Introduction- The purpose of the funeral services paper or project is to describe and compare the funeral practices of other countries. The research paper requirement for this class is the following:

Select any three (3) countries of the world (not the United States or Canada) and discuss-
The roles of the family in funeralization.
The growth of cremation.
The growth of ‘green’ or ecologically-friendly funerals.
The creation and/or sales of caskets or outer burial containers.
The mourning customs and funeral practices of the citizens.
The influence (or lack) of hospice.
The primary language and varied occupations of the citizens.
The various religious beliefs of those in the countries.
The presence of funeral directors in the country and their job outlook.
The practice of embalming in the country (or lack thereof)
The paper will discuss the above items for the 3 countries and should be typewritten and submitted to me on, via the SafeAssign link below, or before April 24. Papers are generally graded and grades posted within 3 days. If you do not see a grade for the assignment within 3 days- it was not received. Papers received after 4/24 will be accepted, but 10 points will be deducted from the final assignment grade for each day the paper is late. No papers will be accepted after 4/29 and a zero (0) grade will be posted for that paper. This project counts as 20% of your final grade.
You may use any approved format for the research paper (APA, etc.) but you should have either footnotes or endnotes. There should also be a bibliography page of sources. Do not use wikipedia as a source. please! How many pages? I would estimate three double-spaced, typewritten pages per country.
Formatting Requirements:
Put your name, course and section number, and assignment title at the top of the document.
Use one-inch margins
Use 12-point Times New Roman font.
Double space the assignment.
Use APA Citation Style
