Word Study: Prepare a summary report on the various uses of the Hebrew word NR;b ben “son” including 1-2 examples of each usage from the OT. Example texts should be drawn from an academic quality English translation of the Bible. The English word(s) from the text which correspond(s) to the Hebrew word should be indicated in some manner. The usages should be identified from a study of NR;b ben as given in the following lexical tools (as abbreviated in the bibliography given above): BDB, TDOT, TLOT, TWOT, and NIDOTTE.
