You are to develop a plan for your nominated HR service which will be presented to senior management for
approval. The plan is to address the following:

1. Summarise the o$njsational strategic plan, and highlight which strategy you will focus on and the
HR service requiredtb meet that strategy.
2. ldentify if the HR service is transformation, traditional or transactional and why?
3. ldentify and summarise any legislation and organisational policies and procedures to be considered
and why in relation to the HR service.
4. ldentify any barriers (internal or external) and how you plan to mitigate the impact or risk. Make
sure to include a return on investment (ROl) calculation.
5. ldentify the current level of diversity in your organisation and describe how your HR service will
improve it.
6. ldentify a list of stakeholders and their roles. Describe how they will be involved or impacted by this
HR service and your method for consultation and communication. This includes obtaining feedback
and using that to modify the delivery of HR services.
7. Review the availability of outsourcing the HR service. What organisations would you consider and
how would you approach the supplier discussions and agreement?
8. Does the proposed HR service include organisational change? lf so, describe what type of changes
(e.g. people, systems, process) and how will you manage the change?
9. Provide a summary of the method you will use to present to management and gain approval for the
strategy. lnclude 3-4 presentation slides.
