1. Human Services Defined–provide definitions, what it means to you, as well as examples of professionals in the field at the micro, mezzo, and macro level. 2. History and Evolution of Human Services–provide some historical information on the field of human services as a profession. Note specific social movements and reforms that have contributed to this development as well as ways in which human services can help heal some of the polarization within your country (“country” does not have to be the United States). 3. Human Services Ethical Codes-define ethics and differentiate between morals. Describe what ethical and unethical behaviors might look like in the human services field; why it might be difficult to engage in ethical behavior at times; and develop a personal code of ethics with your specific career goals in mind.
