Case study from semi -structured interview data and all information is confidential from this interview, person name also has been changed who i interviewed for my
case study because of confidentially.
you will be writing about Holly `s educational experiences which link through with social class. I have done a semi structured interview so collected some data about
holly`s experiences. I will add the data to let you use information from holly` s information and support them with the literature. If you read the interview questions
and answers, you will understand that Holly is indian and her family come from working class as we can understand that they are working long hours and both of them
were not educated and her mum did not work for 5 years as Holly has given this information during the interview which you can find them in the interview word file.

You can start my case study giving clear explanation and definition for social class. You can mention about how the social class is effective in pupils educational
life and make sure reference this information.

DETAILS OF INTERVIEW (which are written in below) AS YOU DO NEED TO MENTION INTERVIEWER FEELING DURING THE INTERVIEW

Whilst I was doing interview with Holly, she was calm at the beginning, however, she got frustrated when she remembered to be bullied because of being fat as her voice
tune is changed and raised as well. I tried to make her calm again with asking totally different type of question after she finished talking about her bulliying
experience. She was fine after but she explained that she was not behaving very well at primary school as she said that every other day teacher was calling her parents
to complain about Holly`s behaviour.That you can mentioned as she was not much supported by her parents so teacher was only trying to discipline her and support her
during her primary school time., Support that with parent involvement in her studies from the reference please. As her parent was not involve enough in her studies so
that can be affected the social class issues if her parent was in the middle class, they would be much more supportive when she needs help to do your homework or
guidance for anything else about her lessons. Then compare to her siblings Holly was different in terms of learning foreign or native language as she was not eager to
learn their native language as she chose French Instead.That is also connected with SOCIAL CLASS issue. As middle class parent would prefer to teach international or
popular language as well as their native language..(Support that with reference about subject choices differences between different social class children) Ys ou can
mention about her achievement was affected during her secondary school as well because she said that she hated the school at that time. (It can be one of the reason
again that her parents was not encouraging her and not supporting her for her studies, that`s why she was not good enough, she was only average student because of she
was participating lesson and got the grade A-C from GCSE EXAMS. Holly was bullied at secondary school because of she was fat so that can be another reason she hated
school. Again It can be linked with social class as she hit one of her friend because of bullied and her teacher did not get involved but she doesnt know why.. She
only knew that it was her weak point that being fat. It can be social class issue that pupil don t get enough help because of coming from working class parent and
stuying with same kind of students in low quality schools or with not good teachers..But Holly said that her secondary school was outstanding and turn into academy
now, achievement and studing was good in her school in terms of her idea. Al so you can mention about Holy`s school uniform was limited as she had to wear black jeans
once whilst going to school because of her school trousers was dirty and she had no choice apart from her black jeans instead of school trousers.(so you can mention
here that middle class or upple class parents always provide enough clothes for their children and cared their education more than working class parents as Holy hasn t
been accepted tp entry to school on that day because of wearing black jeans)MAKE SURE FIND SOME RESOURCES FROM MY FILE TO SUPPORT THAT INFORMATION WITH LITERATURE.
