This journal is a semester long project and should be started at the start the semester. Continue to work on the journal during the course of the semester. This assignment is a set of six responses to current news reports and opinion essays.

Each response must contain one paragraph of summary, one paragraph of rhetorical analysis – this paragraph should be the most developed in the entry and one paragraph of personal response. Include at least one SHORT direct quote in the analysis paragraph of the entry. The analysis and response paragraphs need to have clear topic sentences. This is a total of at least three paragraphs.The total for each entry should be 250 – 300 words.

You need to identify the title of the editorial and author, if one is given, in your response. In-text documentation is required. A works cited entry should be placed at the end of the response. Use the format for an online source.

The journal entries must be typed, double spaced.All entries will be submitted as ONE FILE.Students who submit ten separate files will have only ONE file graded.
