Compare  What is the nature of morality? to Are moral facts determined by psychological facts?. The first is a very broad question, which includes all sorts of
complex considerations. This (along with other big questions, like Does God exist? or What is human nature?) is too much to be discussed in a single short paper. Specific topics are easier to address, and help keeping writing clear and focused.
Make your topic interesting
This has two meanings your topic should be interesting to you and to a reader. Your own interest is important because it will help keep you motivated and invested in the project. A good rule of thumb is to make sure that someone could reasonably disagree with you. If there is no possibility that a rational person might disagree with you, then this is probably a boring topic. Good arguments happen when there is something at stake.
For this paper, we are going to want at least 4 substantive points being made at least two points in favor of your thesis, at least one potential objection to your thesis, and at least one point in response to that objection. You can order them however you want, but the end result should look something like:
Thesis: My View
(1) First point in favor of my view (2) Second point in favor of my view (3) A potential objection to my view (4) A response to (3)
