Research Medical Assisting certification and the four associations that give certification examinations. Write your paper to cover the following for each of these associations:

1. Who can take the examination
2. How often is the examination given
3. What examination format is available for taking the test
4. How long is the examination and how much time are you given for the examination
5. What score must you have to become certified
6. What requirements to maintain your certification

These last two questions are general and are not associated with the certification associations.

1. What states(s) require certification
2. Is there consideration to make certification a national requirements
