The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will again offer fans the opportunity to officially participate in the induction selection process. Especially with your current education in rock history, you might at first glance think, ?What is he/she/that group doing there?? You may also think, ?Who is/was he/she/that group?? You might even take issue with some of the statements of the HOF President. You wouldn?t be the first to have these kinds of reactions. For this writing assignment, please write on what you think about this year?s nominees, and who ended up being inducted this year. (This year?s induction ceremony is currently showing often on HBO.) Which ones would you (or maybe actually did) vote for? What are your criteria for nomination/election to the HOF? Do some of these nominees, even if their music was/is ?good,? not represent ?rock? music?
