There has been much research in recent years on psychological and personality traits and the extent to which they are influenced by our genes. For example, there have been some genes that have been associated with an increased risk for certain disorders such as addictions, or schizophrenia. In this project you will research what is known about how genetics/hereditary factors affect psychological and personality characteristics. You will include your reactions/reflections on what the research means for you personally. There have been significant advances in genetic research in recent years, so most of your paper should focus on research that has been completed within the past 10 years. Your paper for this project should be 2 full pages, not counting the title page, and reference page. Use APA format for this assignment, particularly for citation of your sources and the reference page. It is not necessary to include an abstract for this project.
