: Outsourcing (Foreign and Domestic) and Offshoring

Rewrite of an earlier paper (uploaded with sources and my previous papers on the subject).
This is a research-based argumentation paper, I feel the original version leans too far on opinion versus evidence. My stance for this paper is that while offshoring
and foreign outsourcing has negative effects domestically economically and socially in its current form, it shouldn’t be abandoned but rather subject to greater
oversight and regulation. Domestic outsourcing, on the other hand, while less devastating is only marginally less dubious and should also be subject to oversight. With
that, there should be federal legislation affording workers rights, especially protections for loss of employment due to foreign outsourcing and offshoring.
