Read the Sinclair King Coal, Fitzgerald The Beautiful and the Damned and Lewis It Can’t Happen Here books and write a ten to twelve page book review. In your paper,
discuss some of the major themes of each novel, including any common themes that you find running through two or more of the books. In your paper, address the
following kinds of questions: How does each novel reflect the time period in which it was written? What does each novel suggest about the particular time and place in
which it was produced? Is the author attempting to make a particular point about the time? What viewpoints are represented in the books? Do you think the author is
fair to all sides that are being represented?

Support your analysis with specific examples, supported by direct quotations, taken from each novel.

Be sure to use examples taken from the entire book, but do not simply provide a straight plot summary.
