Research paper and Presentation
Instead of a midterm and a final exam, students will write a research paper. You may choose your own topic related to the themes of this class, but it must be approved by the instructor. The full paper should be seven to eight pages (ten to fifteen pages for W credit) and use at least two sources outside of class readings. Tentative topic and thesis must be submitted by week 4; outline and annotated bibliography are due in week 7. Each student will present the findings in week 10. The final paper is due on Wednesday, March 16th at 11:59 pm on the canvas website.
