Choose ONE TOPIC ONLY:

1) Critically evaluate the theoretical and empirical (both national and international) literature on the assessment and support of foster carers. Discuss their implications for policy and practice.

2) Critically review the major developments in policy, practice and research (cover all three areas thoroughly) in the area of Adoption. Illustrate your answer with at least three research studies
(can be national or international, better to have a mix of both with the third one being either national or international). Discuss their implications for child welfare practice in t he new
millennium.
