Paper,  Order, or Assignment Requirements

Research Assignment – Select a theme from one or two readings (if two then they must be complementary) -You will then research the literature on the topic and write a piece that argues in favour or in disagreement with the article (no more than 5 sources) Just like every other paper that I expect – this one will have a core thesis and three discussion points – You may use I to explain your position and your discussion points must be based on evidence – evidence should be other academic work (preferably peer reviewed) You may not use personal webpages (unless approved after discussion with the Instructor) or Wikipedia or other online dictionaries/reference sites – You will be expected to use sociological terminology to express your points Referencing style is ASA – per the Sociology Department (please see me if you would like to use another referencing system) This assignment should be 6 to 8 pages in length – double spaced – with an appropriate title page (no folders etc unless there are other items being enclosed)
