Paper , Order, or Assignment Requirements

Once youve selected your item, you will research it and write a paper, explaining why you think it represents nutrition quackery. What kind of claims does this product/publication make? Do they sound reasonable? Find as many red flags of nutrition quackery as you can (see p. 32 in your textbook, as well as the warning signs discussed in the Quackwatch reading). You should discuss the scientific evidence, if there is any cited, and note if there is none mentioned. Does the author list his/her credentials? If not, what does that tell you? What is the price of the product/publication? Are there any disclaimers or warnings? Would you feel comfortable using this product (or following the advice of the publication) yourself?
