In the novel, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, by Junot Diaz, how can the reader apply a critical lens (historical, biographical, feminist, gender/sexuality, queer theory, critical race) and research about the use of language, history, or science-fiction references in order to explain how Diaz conveys a universal theme about human nature through the lens and the means of research.
