Proposed Title:

The impact of social media on males versus female’s buying behaviour.

The Impact of Social Media on Customer Purchase Decisions

 

Background:

Nowadays, when people using the social media to communicate with others, they will find various of advert on the webpage, this is one of the useful promotion methods. This project will focus on how social media impact people purchase, and is there any different impact on male and female on social media advertising. There are several related articles that I found in the Marketing Week.

Research Questions and Objectives:

• What are you trying to achieve?
• Main research question and sub-questions

Method:

Research Design:

• Where? Which organisation(s), Industry sector, population of interest? – Why them?
• Method – e.g. questionnaire, interviews, focus groups, secondary data – or a combination? – Explain why.

Data Collection:

• More detail about how you will gather the data, sample size, no of interviews, how the questionnaire will be distributed, how the data will be analysed etc…
• Ethical considerations – e.g. confidentiality, sensitive issues, surveying children, gaining access to external participants and information etc…?

 

Timescale:

• Divide your research into stages
• Everything tends to take longer than expected – allow for that!
• Gantt Chart

 

Resources:

• Financial, data access (incl any key permission contacts), data collection and analysis tools (eg. BOS online surveys software) equipment and time constraints
