The increased use of Security Cameras CCTV’s
There are two sides to this issue. On one side is the law enforcement, government
side that promotes the increased use of security cameras to deter, prevent, and
evidence gathering purposes. The other side of the argument is that the use of
cameras in public places infringes in the constitutional right of citizens to privacy. I will
be taking the side of how the increase use of security cameras violates the privacy
rights of citizens in the United States. My interest in this topic is in part due to my
current job as Security Manager for a finance institution. From my 15 years in law
enforcement and the current social push for Police departments to provide body
 cameras for all officers.
