Here are the instructions for the assignment: (Please be clear and DO NOT skip any step.)

The purpose of the Movie Assignment is to identify issues from a movie that relate to major entrepreneurial concepts and how these issues integrate into major themes. Findings shall also be presented.

The Movie Assignment written report shall consist of the following:
Cover Page

Business name, project team student names, and BNTR 4587 Section Number to be noted.

Information Section

The Information Section includes a discussion on:
the main plot of the movie. Do not include the many sub plots in the story line;
the key characters, and the purpose of his/ her mission in the movie;
the critical crisis or turning point of the movie;
the opportunity identified;
the contribution made to society/ community/ family;
the reason why the entrepreneur undertook this endeavor; and
whether the movie ending resolved the issues/ problems.

Conceptual Section

The Conceptual Section includes a discussion on the major entrepreneurial concepts identified in class, and how the three movie scenes included in the presentation are relevant to course material.

Analytical Section

The Analytical Section is a discussion that integrates and evaluates issues into major themes that emerged from the movie. Try to make the discussion unique, insightful and meaningful.

The Movie Assignment Presentation shall address the following key issues:

1- What are the major events, problems, and opportunities that helped/ hindered the establishment and growth of the person/ business/ adventure?

2- Describe the main characters and his/ her background and life history.

3- Describe the background/ context that the main character is living in, that is, what was it in society or external environment that gave him/ her the drive to realize their dream or mission in life.

4- What crisis did the main character encounter along the way? What happened? How were they dealing with it?

5- Identify any other people closely involved with the main character in the movie and how they helped the main character realize the dream.

6- Did the dream help other people? Explain the contribution made to society/ themselves/ friends/ family.

Presentation Notes:

The presentation shall include three excerpts from the movie.
