select two theories (for example, theories from chapter 1, theories on crime and deviance in chapter 7, theories on inequality in chapter 8, theories on gender inequality in chapter 10, theories on illness in chapter 18, etc.) or two concepts (such as globalization which is addressed in so many chapters, social groups and conformity in chapter 6, target hardening in chapter 7, economic inequality in chapter 8, gender inequality in chapter 10, immigration in chapter 11, etc.). Remember, theories are used to understand social issues, but they are not the same as social issues/facts/events/social phenomena.
