The research essay in this course should be from 8-10 pages in length, in a 12 point font, either 1

½ or double spaced, and not excessively wide margins. It must be referenced substantially and

appropriately (approximately 7 or more references for a research essay, including 1 course

reference and several non-WebPage references (books, journals, and journal articles located on

the Web can be cited), and be original work. **at least 4 sources out of the 7 sources must be

scholarly sources.
