1) Look at the international response to genocide and mass atrocities.

2) Explore the Responsibility to Protect (R2P) doctrine along with it’s almost immediate failure in Darfur.

3) The Arab Spring uprising in Libya offers the international community another chance to invoke R2P, but the outcome left many in doubt as to the future of R2P.

4) Look at a short video from TED Talks by Janine di Giovanni.
