required to write a term project paper based on a well-recognized urban development problem. This paper consists of two parts: literature review and an investigation of the problem in a specific urban or metropolitan area. The literature review part(see attached files) should include the significance of the problem (Why is the problem a problem?), findings and solutions of the existing works (What has been done to solve or alleviate the problem), and analyses of these findings and solutions (Advantages and disadvantages of solutions). A problem investigation part(this part is what I need) should demonstrate the significance and severity of the problem within your chosen area. You should gather some data on the problem you need investigate. Based on these data, you should critically analyze the current solutions on both efficiency and equity grounds and propose potential solutions on them.
