Section 1. Physical Environment, Landmarks and Topography [Group Member #1] – Neighborhood Base Maps. Generate one overview map of your city which identifies the location of you neighborhood within the city, and a second neighborhood-level map which identifies major land uses and/or landmarks and clearly demarks major boundaries, features and landmarks. – Topography and Landmarks. Referencing your neighborhood map, describe and discuss landmarks and major features or routes. Do they influence the functioning, feel, and/or use of space within your neighborhood? Do they help define your area as a unique “neighborhood”?
