Analyze the status of the central Government of Indonesia (GoI) using the current Public Expenditure Framework of Accountability (PEFA). The paper should:

1. Describe as of the date of the PEFA assessment, the current state of PFM in terms of the 3 principal objectives of Public Financial Management.

2. Identify the key weaknesses of Public Financial Management in the Government of Indonesia by analyzing selected indicators of Performance (P-1 to P-28).

3. Explain the weaknesses of the GoI’s PFM from your knowledge obtained through lectures, readings and discussions about PFM.

4. Finally, give your opinion.

Assessment criteria:

1. Demonstrated understanding of select PEFA indicators;

2. What are the most significant indicators for explaining the status of PFM in the

Central GoI?

3. Apply select topics from the course (lectures, readings, discussions) to assess PFM in

the Central GoI;

4. The quality of your personal opinion of the case.
