ECED 2120 Reflective Assignment Instructions

Instructions for Assignment: (Read and follow carefully!)
*You are to write a reflection on the book, Circle of Influence.
*There should be three major sections of your assignment. Label each section.
*Then, type in the questions for that section and your answers.

The first section should be an introduction to your assignment. Answer the following questions in the introduction.
Introduction-
1a) What in your background has motivated you to want to become a director or leader?
1b)Why are you interested in this profession?

The second or middle section should be labeled Part II. Please answer the following three questions. Type the question and then your answer:
Part II-
2a) What style of management is used in your workplace now? Do you feel this is effective? Why?
2b) Which ideas from the book appeal to you? Which would you, or will you try as a director? What do you think would work? What do you feel may be impractical?
2c) What did you determine your preferred decision-making style to be? Did this surprise you?

The last section should be a conclusion to your paper. Label this section Part III. Type the following questions and then your answer:
Part III-
3a) What did you learn that was new to you from this book?
3b) Why was it valuable to you?
3c) What would you like to learn more about?

You may use examples from your own workplace and experiences, but be sure to stick to the topic of participative management.
