the main claim.
Establish an appropriate academic voice and tone, wording ideas clearly and precisely.
Be organized in a way that guides the reader from one idea to the next, and that introduces and closes your argument analysis effectively.
Be carefully proofread and edited, with particular attention to sentences in which you quote Scholes.
Be four pages in length, written in MLA format.  In addition to the four pages, include a works cited page.
