This is my senior thesis here are a list of guidelines…
1. A thoughtful title that signals the content or key ideas in the essay.
2. An introduction that provides a since of the general context for the issue you are addressing. Your intro may begin with the following, detailed description of current event, a startling fact, or any effective way of grabbing the readers attention. A thesis statement should be stated at the end of the intro.
3.Body paragraphs should develop each key idea introduced in the thesis statement and should provide rich detail to help the reader understand the relationship between topic addressed in the paragraph and the larger argument the essay makes.
4. Transitions should hinge on logic more than listing.
5. A conclusion that addresses why your observations matter.
6. Body paragraphs should follow TRIAC method.
7. Body paragraphs should provide some from of specific evidence to establish key points, in the form of textual evidence and analysis, paraphrase and analysis, or reference to an outside source and analysis.
8. Documentation of any material that comes from an outside source.
9. An alphabetically organized “Works Cited” page
